In 2017 Lucy opened up LMA Studios. We are a school based In Cheshunt offering street, lyrical, ballet, musical theatre jazz and tap classes for ages 3+.
Our award winning school is somewhere for our students to feel safe, comfortable and build confidence. We cater to each students individual needs so that they are able to get the most out of each and every dance class. Our classes are for everyone and all are welcome to dance with us. Our dance family has a bond like no other and we thrive in the support we offer each other.
Throughout the year, LMA Studios offers performance opportunities of many kinds. These are a great way to boost confidence, have fun and show off their fresh moves. This is also a lovely way for families to see the growth our dancers have.
Lucy started dancing at three years old. Growing up doing ISTD classes in ballet, tap and modern whilst also doing non-syllabus street classes. Lucy found her passion for teaching when she started assisting at thirteen years old. At seventeen, Lucy went off to college to begin her dance teacher training, her qualifications are something she is extremely proud of. She always dreamt of owning her own school, never thinking it would happen, but at twenty years old, LMA Studios was born. Lucy absolutely loves teaching all of LMA’s brilliant students each week and watching them progress on their individual paths. You may quite often see her rushing around Cheshunt in the LMA logo - Feel free to say ‘hi’ as she always loves to stop for a chat.
We were thrilled to announce that our owner Lucy was a finalist for 'SME Young Business Person of the Year Herts'. It was an absolute privilege to have made it to the final and we had an absolute blast at the awards ceremony. Check out this brilliant article by Herts Live below.
